Scream Effects Co were approached By Scream Camp to produce a new Hat and staff prop for their 2023 event.

Scream Effects Co worked closely with scream camp to ensure that the deadline for all the works was completed on time, The works included making a new hat based on an original provided to the team, creating a hand help mini staff prop, and updating a pre-existing mask all to resemble the new Scream Camp logo.

The hat was created out of EVA foam to form the core structure of the hat this was then covered in felt and fabric trim to give it some extra depth is was then lightly distressed to give it some age.

The prop staff was created from wood doweling, 5 mm EVA foam, Acrylic shapes and a prefabricated skull. This was given a gold paint job which was finished by adding highlights to give depth and age before a final clear coat was added.

The mask was reinforced inside with polyurethane foam which was carved out and covered with 5 mm Eva foam. The moustache was replaced with synthetic fiber hair strands which was styled to more closely match the artwork.
